Your Destination —

The Riad Aya lies in the heart of Marrakech.  This location is convenient for the Medina, Jeema El Fna place as well as the famous gardens of Majorelle. The wonderful Jemaa El-Fna is approximately a 10 minute walk and the airport is just 3 miles from the hotel.

The main square in the Medina is Jemaa El-Fna. It is surrounded by endless labyrinths of souks (bazaars) and alleyways covering all of the Medina. This famous square is a must visit as there is always something to see there day and night, whether it be snake charmers, acrobats, fortune-tellers, or the musicians and food stalls.

At night the square really comes to life as people navigate toward the exotic aromas and the entertaining sights. As the evening darkens, the hustle and bustle of activity rages on, and the exotic music seems louder and becomes almost hypnotic.

The Kasbah, surrounding the Jemaa El-Fna, portrays a calmer, less abrasive atmosphere. It is home to the Royal Palace, also the former El-Badi Palace and the Saadian Tombs. This naturally creates a safer atmosphere and cleaner streets. The Kasbah has its own little bazaars (Souikas), food stalls, restaurants and riads for travellers to enjoy.

Your Hotel —

The hotel's eight spacious rooms surround a scented patio which contains a traditional Moroccan lounge, perfect for having a mint tea or a cool drink, two additional lounges with fireplaces, and a dining room.

The ambience of this indoor oasis is enhanced by intricately carved ancient wooden doors, low  comfortable sofas, tall plants and typical lights handcrafted in the Medina itself.

Your Board Basis —

This offer is based on a bed and breakfast stay.  Members can upgrade to half board at the next stage of the booking process.

Authentic and exotic recipes tempt your appetite at Riad Aya.  You will be served regional specialities such as tagine with fragrant spices, fruity lemon couscous, and mint tea accompanied with deliciously sticky sweet pastries.

Your Journey —

Flights: The flights included are with either a scheduled or no-frills airline and are subject to live availability and prices can change. You can choose your preferred departure times during the booking process. Please select your flight options carefully as departure and arrival airports may differ.

Transfers: Transfers are included for members who select a flight inclusive package (distance between airport and hotel is 7.3 km)

Meet & Greet —

If you are driving to the airport in the UK, and book our package including flights, you may wish to add our 'Meet and Greet' service. Take the hassle out of airport parking and have an official representative take your car on arrival, and it will be waiting for you on your return.

This can be added at the next stage of booking process where available.

ATOL Protected —

If you book a package which includes flights, your contract will be with Voyage Privé. The air holiday package(s) shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 10170.

If you book a package which does not include flights, then ATOL protection does not apply. Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as agent for the accommodation provider.

Travel Documents —

Flight Inclusive Offers -You will receive an email confirming your booking within the next 48 hours.
Please check all details on this confirmation are correct.  If there are any discrepancies, please notify us as soon as possible.

The airline is ticketless and therefore, you will not receive any hard copy documents.  You will however, receive an email from us detailing your flight information and reference number to enable you to manage your booking online via the airline website.

You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

If you have booked transfers, 'Meet & Greet', car hire or airport lounges, you will receive a separate voucher for each of these services.  Please note that transfer vouchers are sent directly from the transfer supplier.
Please do make sure that you either add Voyage Privé to your ‘Safe Senders’ list or check your ‘Junk mail’ regularly for your travel documents.

We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure.
